We run our courses at times to suit our customers. We can also adapt the content of our courses depending on your needs and interests. All courses are on the basis of indivudal tuition at £165 per day, partners and members of small groups sharing the same interest will receive a big discount for additional places (up to four persons only).

Black & White Photography (one to three-day break)

Spend from one to three days discovering the excitement of ‘seeing in B&W’. Your first day will cover metering and film choice then go out to take photographs. Further days can be spent processing and printing what may be your first B&W films. On longer breaks you may wish to look more deeply into the art and techniques of monochrome practice. Learn the use of filters for B&W; explore more interesting B&W films, alternative developers and more advanced printing techniques.

Includes chemistry but does not include film and paper. We can advise on what to bring or you can buy from us at a reasonable price.

Talk to us about mastering the craft of monochrome printing. For many of these topics two modules can be covered in one day. Pick any four modules for a weekend or two-day break.
