Controlling colour (one-day workshop) Anyone printing digital has experienced the problems of reproducing accurately what is on their screen. This intensive course, for professionals and advanced workers alike, looks at how to solve this problem. Covers colour gamuts; the importance of monitor calibration; printer profiling and soft proofing. Participants will be emailed a calibration file that they can print on their own equipment and will be able to measure this printed sample to create their own ICC printer profile as part of this course. |

Publishing for Photographers (one-day workshop) For experienced photographers who would like to publish their work themselves. We cover Duotone, Spot Colour and four colour printing; working with Duo/Tri/Quadtones in Photoshop; preparing images from digital to CMYK colour; how to handle monochrome for the Printers; colour management – the importance of monitor and printer calibration. |
