We run our courses at times to suit our clients. We will discuss a course agenda with you depending on your needs and interests. Here are some ideas. Training on-location may be possible - please ask. We primarily offer individual tuition at £200 per day. We can tutor small groups and offer a big discount for second, third or fourth members sharing the same area of tuition. |

Digital Fundamentals (one-day workshop) This course is especially suited to professionals making the change from traditional photography to digital imaging. A combined theory and hands-on course that covers all aspects of the digital workflow

Working with Adobe Photoshop®(one-day workshops) A flexible, modular approach lets you pick topics most suited to your needs. Can cover composite images, colour correction, photo retouching; colour separations (CMYK) for publication. A more advanced course suitable for those who already have taken some Photoshop training or can demonstrate a basic competence with the program. |

Working with Adobe Photoshop® Lightroom (one-day workshop) Power of the raw file, covers keywording, image editing and presentation with lightroom. |

Controlling colour (one-day workshop) Anyone printing digital has experienced the problems of reproducing accurately what is on their screen. This intensive course, for professionals and advanced workers alike, looks at how to solve this problem. Covers colour gamuts; the importance of monitor calibration; printer profiling and soft proofing. Participants will be emailed a calibration file that they can print on their own equipment and will be able to measure this printed sample to create their own ICC printer profile as part of this course. |

Black & White Orientation (two-day workshop) One-day to shoot and develop B&W; a second day to print in the darkroom. Ideal for newcomers to the photographic industry wanting to get a grounding in expoure and darkroom work. Includes chemistry and a lunch on each day. Publishing for Photographers (one-day workshop) For experienced photographers who would like to publish their work themselves. We cover Duotone, Spot Colour and four colour printing; working with Duo/Tri/Quadtones in Photoshop; preparing images from digital to CMYK colour; how to handle monochrome for the Printers; colour management – the importance of monitor and printer calibration. |
